DRYLLERAKIS & ASSOCIATES’ competition practice is led by Emmanuel Dryllerakis, who is joined by fellow partners Cleomenis Yannikas and recently promoted Themelis Zamparas, as well as two counsel and one associate. The practice is co-counsel to outdoor equipment provider Resoul in its appeal before the Court of Appeal against a €1 million abuse of dominance fine, and to GlaxoSmithKline in its appeal against a €4.1 million abuse of dominance penalty pending before the Council of State. The firm also advises Olympic Brewery as an intervenor in Athenian Brewery’s appeal against a €31 million abuse of dominance fine. Meanwhile, the team is assisting solar thermal provider Helioakmi after the authority alleged in a statement of objections that it breached resale price maintenance rules. It also continues to advise Elais-Unilever Hellas in its appeal against a €27 million penalty for the restriction of its sale of margarine products, which is pending before the Council of State.
