Legal ethics through the eyes of experience: A distinguished event by the Athens Bar Association

In a legal profession that constantly evolves, ethical integrity remains a timeless and indispensable foundation. Recently, the Athens Bar Association organized a special event that brought together three prominent figures in Greek legal tradition to reflect on the core values of the profession and the enduring importance of legal ethics.

Among the main speakers was John C. Dryllerakis, founder and managing senior partner of Dryllerakis Law Firm. His insightful speech addressed both the theoretical underpinnings and the practical applications of ethical conduct in modern legal practice, highlighting the importance of integrity as a compass in every stage of a lawyer’s career.

He shared the stage with Christos Maneas, an active lawyer for 73 consecutive years, and Vassilis Dimakopoulos, a member of the Athens Bar since 1972. Drawing on their combined decades of experience, they provided a unique perspective on the legal profession, illuminating enduring values that continue to drive its evolution.
