Claire Sergaki Addresses Key Procedural Issues at the 6th Athens International Arbitration Forum

Dryllerakis Law Firm is pleased to announce that our Partner, Claire Sergaki, participated as a speaker in the 6th Athens International Arbitration Forum, titled “Construction Contracts and International Arbitration,” held in the context of the Athens Arbitration Days.

Claire contributed to the fourth session, “Procedural Issues in Construction Arbitration,” where she addressed the considerations involved in selecting arbitrators in construction disputes, examining the advantages and challenges associated with appointing engineers versus lawyers. She also discussed the use of bifurcation as an effective case management technique to promote procedural efficiency, as well as the role and necessity of tribunal-appointed experts in resolving complex technical matters.

The Forum brought together distinguished practitioners, academics and experts to explore key procedural developments and challenges in the field of construction arbitration.
