17th Panhellenic Conference of In-House Counsels “Rapid Changes Demand Changes

We are pleased to share that Senior Partner and co- head of our Litigation Department, Vassilis Constantinidis, recently participated as a speaker in the 17th Panhellenic Conference of In-House Counsels “Rapid Changes Demand Changes,” , organised by Nomiki Vivliothiki and ACC Europe. Drawing on his extensive experience as a former General Counsel in multinational groups and his current role in our Firm, he contributed to a lively and insightful panel discussion that brought together leading General Counsels and external counsel.

The panel explored the dynamics of the GC–external counsel relationship, emphasizing that this is not merely a transactional collaboration, but a strategic partnership rooted in trust, mutual respect, and open communication. Particularly valuable was the diverse mix of perspectives—both male and female—on how this professional bond is shaped in practice and evolves under pressure.

A unique element of the session was its interactive format. The discussion incorporated the audience’s responses to a pre-distributed questionnaire, sparking real-time commentary and reflection. In parallel, panelists engaged with real-life case studies that highlighted high-pressure legal scenarios, ethical dilemmas, and strategic disagreements, bringing theory into direct contact with practice.

Through humour, candour, and real engagement, the session illustrated how, ultimately, the best GC–counsel relationships function as true allies navigating complexity together.
