  • Defense of Hondos Center, the leading retailer in Greek cosmetics market, with regard to an investigation of the HCC in the selective distribution channel of cosmetics industry. First-ever settlement successfully reached with the HCC.
  • Abuse of dominance case against Athenian Brewery. Advisors to the complainant (Mythos - Carlsberg). Successful handling. HCC imposed a record fine of €31,5m against Athenian Brewery. Case currently pending before the Administrative Court of Appeal.
  • Poultry cartel case. Advisors to the major players in the Greek market regarding cartel allegations, involving the trade association. Successful handling before the Administrative Court of Appeal. Fines have been drastically reduced by almost 90%).
  • Unconditional merger control clearance of Mythos Brewery/Olympic Brewery deal.

He has long experience in the area of investment incentives and privatisations, having acted in many cases either for the investor or for the Greek State.

He has also participated in law-making committees for the amendment of the legal framework regarding tax law, competition law, corporate law and privatizations.

He has been General Counsel and General Tax Counsel of the Exxon affiliates in Greece (1967- 1984) and subsequently of Shell Hellas (1984- 1996). Member of their Board of Directors and management teams.
