Due to the
participation of the partners in the Public
Administration process, the firm has a substantial
experience in this field and the way subjects
are treated by the Administration. J.C.Dryllerakis
was for more than six years a regular member of
the independent Authority "Competition Committee"
(which enforced the competition-antitrust regulations)
and for two years a member of the Board of Directors
of another independent authority "Capital
Market Committee" regulating the Capital
Market (like the SEC in the USA), in both cases
as a representative of the Hellenic Industries
Association (SEV). He has participated in the
drafting committees of several legislation (competition
law, consumers' protection, mergers, tax bills
etc.). Professor Philippos
Spyropoulos, one of the partners,
is a regular Professor of Public Law in the Law
School of Athens University, while he was also
a regular member of the independent Authority "Hellenic
Committee of Telecommunications". He has
served as General Secretary of the Ministry of
Justice and he is an active member of the scientific
community. Alice Dryllerakis
has served for 13 years in an executive position
in the Ministry of Commerce the Department of
Societes Anonymes.
